example of a user-centered design based on work flow

Cisco Systems
User interface (UI) design is inextricably intertwined with user experience (UE) design. What the user needs to do, the tasks and work flows to be undertaken, must be thought through to the nth degree to insure efficiency and productivity. The user interface to support the tasks and workflows of the user needs to accomplish needs to be flexible enough to allow a wide variety of tasks, yet consistent enough to be easy to learn and easy to use. See Cisco Systems case study.
